Listening: 'Boston' by Augustana

One more week of uni before we get a 2 week break. Everyone's looking forward to that and Zeren's coming back for a short while during then. I hope I'm getting back on the right track as I did sense a change of something in the air during studio.

There was a major duck fight yesterday morning. Heard some loud quacking in my balcony and saw two ducks fighting. I knew that one was going to kill the other, pinning and biting on the smaller duck's neck. Tried to seperate them and got confused and realised there were two bigger ducks trying to kill one small duck. It was crazy and they took their fight behind the unit and it went quiet suddenly. I did check the area a few minutes later and no bodies were found.

I'm pretty lucky that I've got mates here who backs me up and I guess that's the support system that I rely on and we do the same for each other. I love my mates for that.

Had a chat with Ned as we were talking about easels and I would like to have one probably at the end of the year or next year if I could afford. He mentioned that his mom could help me out especially she's got a workshop and it might be cheaper than the easels at shop. And this will be custom made. Zeren wanted to make one for me but he doesn't have the tools or a workshop but he reckons it's a great idea. So I'm looking forward to having a one-of-a-kind easel made by Ned's mom. Exciting.

Got to play an electric guitar for the first time. Tyler and I headed to Billy Hyde's on friday and tried out guitars. I've been playing the guitar for 9 years but never tried an electric before. It's awesome. And I can say I played a $3,500 guitar. Wicked!

Got some photos from Williamstown, Victoria. It's very similar to Victor Harbour except they have a whole lot more boats and ships especially war ships, both old and new. Seaplanes and it takes about an hour train ride to get there from Melbourne where we met this weird guy who tried to sell us asians a stolen laptop. Had to play dumb but we're smarter than that. Plenty of dead jellyfishes too.

Planning on painting two photos I've taken in Melbourne for my next project. Have to type up the brief for David.

Oh! I hope the thief who stole my ebay package gets something bad in return!! And that postman! Hope he gets reprimanded for not carrying out proper procedure. Lazy bugger who can't get off his bike when he needs to. Argh!!!!!

6-ish pm...

I went outside my balcony and found the package tucked in a corner of the door. Thing is, whether the notes I put out had worked or someone had an awesome shot or someone climbed in... investigation still continues. Weird things happen when you're about to watch 'The Happening'.
