Listening: 'Ghost of a shark' by Tom Mcrae

I got the house to myself again. Zeren's started school officially after last week's orientation. His school is the complete opposite of my uni. He's got to wear a uniform (different uniforms), his school reminds me of my high school aka methodist military school (minus the religion part), tons of books and his timetable is completely crazy with 11 subjects. I feel so happy in my uni, only attending it twice a week and no exams. And it's pretty crazy that he starts school at 7-ish am on wednesdays.

Gonna be discipline to try come up with some drawing or painting or sketch at least one a day. I've finished the painting and gonna spend some time scrubbing out dried out matte medium from my brushes. Though I have to wait till my fingernails are a bit longer for that.

I went down the road outside my place to check out Tour Down Under. Stage 4 race starting from Unley to Victor Harbour. Pretty crazy there but I managed to squeeze in. I didn't bring my big camera as I was alone and it'll look weird especially with the dried blood cut on my lip. I had to keep sucking my lower lip in to hide it. Well, I got it from swimming in the shallow waters of the sea. Pretty bad when I first got it but it healed up pretty fast. Zeren was fishing and he was speechless when I showed him.

Feb 1 is already here and I'm dreading it. I hope the biopsy ain't gonna be too bad. *cross fingers*

Finally another update. Renee must be sighing a great relief. I've been busy with Dad and Zeren around. My new roomie had run around to get his gear for his room. His room has transformed a great deal into a cosy bedroom and only lately I realised he's got a great view. Looking up into the sky with the trees swaying.

Nothing much happened. Brought Zeren for surfing. His second try which was pretty good though both of us reckon we could have gotten better runs if not for the kids in front. They don't look behind and we had to constantly break our falls just to avoid hitting them. But nonetheless, I had a couple of good surfs.

Dad brought us to a horse auction at Glenelg. Pretty fun actually. No worries I didn't buy a horse. But the one I was eyeing on was won on a $10,000 bid.

Old Girls painting is definitely coming to finish. Just a bit here and there and done. Just too bad that I couldn't get it done in time for Dad to bring it home for presents. I was thinking that this summer doesn't seem as bad as last summer. Hmm...

It's been a while since I last wrote an entry. I better write one for this new year. I hope everyone had a great new year. I got sunburnt on new year with suzy. Crazy temperatures with people all dying to cool off in the cold waters of Glenelg. It's really nice and cold.

Both Dad and Zeren are here. Zeren has moved in officially but he still needs to get more furniture for his room. I hope he's able to fit in cos that room is pretty small. Managed to clear up my art work and now waiting for a place to put them. My working area has now expanded with all the cables and computer stuff together.

The ducks have moved on for the new year. They have migrated over the summer but I think they left Stewie behind. He still visits and sometimes he gets a bowl out for himself just outside the verandah. Formally introduced Zeren to Stewie who doesn't seem to mind him for now.
