Almost a week since I've arrived back to the home of humidity. It hits you in the face when you step out of the hall after collecting 24.8kg worth of luggage. I saw rain for the first time in months up above in the plane cos due to a certain storm near the airport, we had to circle for another 20 minutes in the sky before landing. Don't get me starting on the SIA stewardess. They crack me up easy. Flight was heaps better compared to the time I flew from Singapore to Melbourne on a BA flight. Where I had the longest pair of legs sitting right in front of me, with a big lady with beckham's strength of feet, kicking me from behind. I was the sandwich of the in-flight ladies and gentlemen. My legs had to be up on the chair where I had to sleep on my knees. Alright...better stop if not I can go on about how bad that flight was.
The next best thing about going to the airport again was seeing Zeren again. Over 6 months of not seeing him (though we see each other on the little boxes of our computers). Seeing each other in person is a whole different thing. It was fantastic. Simply can't believe that we're here in the same place, in the same country. Though I would like to kick him for hiding some good news from me. Bleah.
Had some weird jetlag. Slept for less than 3 hours on the first night and woke up at 4am (7+ am over in adelaide). Ended up watching Season 3 Grey's Anatomy episodes. Had a nice full day with zeren but I had to sleep early. I finally gave in to tiredness. Now I'm not used to the constant noise in my left ear. I'm used to sleeping with quiet surroundings but this is.... The noise repeats itself repeatedly and I wish it shut up. Seriously, alittle tired from hearing the same thing over and over again. I miss my bedroom in Adelaide now.
I welcome the rain over here. Just wish there was a possibility of collecting some and bringing it back home with me. We really need the rain there. More bushfires coming up. Oh well, Ben told me to pack some rain too. And seriously I need a day off to rest at home and catch up with my summer homework. Sigh...........

I write this last post of the year, here in my home in Adelaide, have a heavy heart full of fear, anger and resentment. I'm actually not looking forward to going home at all as some of you noticed. I haven't been eating or sleeping very well for the past 2,3 weeks as I worry and think alot unless I'm down at Middleton. I think of that place as my haven for escape, for me not to think or worry. Sometimes I wished i stayed there where 'no worries' would actually mean something.
Priorities. They have shifted so much that I have no idea what goes on top of the other. I really desperately want a job here so that I can be financially dependent just for my rent, bills and savings. Savings as I want to save up for my new love, surfing thus a surfboard. I don't care about getting a phone anymore. But that prayer has not been answered though I keep praying every single night. So many prayers every night. Pray so hard that tears seal the desperation in each word. I will do that every night until it gets answered.
Seriously, I am considering of shortening my stay in singapore. I wished I made it a week shorter. Don't see much point of staying after christmas. I need to come back to my desperation for a job. January will be another issue when I do summer school. It will clash if I get a job. But one step at a time.
Sometimes I wish my family listens. In fact, I wish for everyone not speak but listen to someone else just for one day. That's my christmas wish. Cos I realised no one listens to each other anymore.
Anyway to lighten things up. Here are pictures to the one prayer that was answered. One more surfing trip before I leave for drama. I went surfing with Nick and Suzy yesterday. The day I had smiles on my face. Thanks Daniel for taking the photos for us and hope you get your fish-eye lens. But first a pic where I sat on the grass on a nice day with Stewie and Abby.

Pictures from Day 1 of surfing. I kept falling off in the beginning and getting slammed, smacked, whacked by the waves left, right and centre. I have no idea how much saltwater I consumed in the end. Stood up a couple of times and I had one fantastic run. It was awesome dude!! Instructor Dan slapped me fives for that like a proud Dad. Result of day one, I bruised my ribs, pulled a muscle on my right ankle, aches here and there and got scratched by the fins of my board. But it was hella worth it!
Taking a walk at Victor's bridge to Granite Island
Victor Harbour's famous horse tram

Suzy and me at Granite IslandDay 2. Waves were choppier and were coming in diagonally. Instead of the usual 1m over you waves, it was heaps bigger than that so more smacking, slapping and whacking. This time we had Meg and I had to paddle really hard. She gave pretty good tips, alittle different from Dan but I'll work on it at home. No bruised ribs this time. Just aching arms from the paddling. Day 1 was heaps better. No wonder it was forecast as the perfect surf in Middleton that day.
Beach houses facing the ... well of course, the beach!
Chilly morning at 21 degrees
Today's surf...bigger than the previous day :/
While waitig, Suzy and I made a sandman

Suzy presents...Pizza!
My delicious beauty...I crave for you
My new friend, Mr MagpieI'm planning to go for one more lesson before I leave for home. Really want to make use of the time I have and I'm so hooked. Decided not to get a new phone but save up for a board instead. Before I can get a board, I need a car. Working with Dan now to find a time cos it's Rip curl's girls day out at Middleton and it'll be crazy. I can't believe that the Roxy competition was in October!! Then again, we were swarmed with assignments. Bleah. Next time I'll be there.
