Beginning of Rough Times
The worse part of the whole moving away for 2 years has just started. On monday night, my aunt left for Finland and saying goodbye to her again somehow fell into place. I thought I was the only one but apparently my mom was also affected by it. Being troopers, we hid our emotions pretty well. It's something about that thin glass in between that makes a huge difference. I figured that it'll be my turn soon and was picturing the whole scene. It's gonna be rougher on me since I'm the last to leave. For the next 2 mondays, I'll be back at the airport to say our goodbyes.
My mom has been thinking about it until she finally broke down. Telling us to come back which I definitely will. If I had more money, I would come back every 6 months but right now, I'll just have to stick with december. It's quite a huge loss for her, having 2 daughters leave at the same time. I still wished my sister wouldn't be so selfish at times though.
Then there's Fievel. That little baby of mine. I'm worried for this guy too cos I won't be around. He's been sticking to me rather closely now. Somehow he knows? He'll sleep on my lap, in my shirt, next to me, anywhere possible as long he has body contact with me. He would even squeeze into spaces and squash himself.

Anyway, trying to get my mom and that little fellow to bond. Cos after I'm gone, they have 3 weeks together to keep each other's company. Fievel being all spoilt only wants the mummy. So my mom can only use food to win his heart. Well I do hope they bond though.
Back track to sunday, I had a little surprise when I was reading the papers.

Sent it in a really long time ago and they only published it. Pity Finn ain't around. Oh well.
Gotta get back to my lists and what to pack. So far I got everything I needed except printing some photos. Grr... Anyway, enjoying music in MySpace.com. I only go there for the music and they're good. Omnisoul!

Oh no! Less than 3 weeks left! I've been slacking too much. I didn't realised there's so many lists I need to do. Better get cracking. First of all, I need to read the fine prints of UniSA's Learning Connection. Apparently if you miss the first class, you can forget about attending the rest of that class for the rest of the semester. Eeks!
Anyway, I finally got my Fantastic Four Soundtrack and Nickelback's 'All The Right Reasons'. New tunes to listen while I do all my stuff. *huge grin*

'Raindrops keep falling on my head...'. Best way to describe the weather these past few days? It has been alittle irritating because you have to go out in that heavy pour and you have this tiny umbrella which won't help that much. It has also been comforting because it's the perfect weather to snuggle under the covers with that big smile on your face. Maybe this could be the preparation for Adelaide? During winter in Adelaide, you get rain like this or worse everyday. Temperatures drop so low that I would rather stay in bed with my hot chocolate and my thick blanket. That's why I'll save up to get nice boots to keep my feet dry.
Yesterday Zeren and I went to catch ElizabethTown. Imagine it was so cold that both of us were zipped up with our jackets. Why ElizabethTown? Cos it's a cameron crowe movie and he directed Jerry Maguire. So I wanna see what kinda enthics he's up to. True enough, the suicide. I really like the movie cos it's pretty meaningful and what drew braylor did in the end, I would like to take that route in future. So I would recommend it to those who like those 'finding meaning or finding themselves' movie or just a sucker to dear orlando.
Plus...I love kristen dunst carefree hippie style. Pretty cool!2 more dreadful days to my test and I'm really hoping that it will not turn out like today. Had my worse revision lesson and my instructor kept making noise such as mumbling or coughing or 'tsk'ing. Makes you think that you're doing wrong here and there or something. He scared the shit outta me when I was speeding up cos I was near the traffic light (amber). He jumped and grabbed the wheel and told me to speed up. Like duh...I was doing so! Impatient drivers love to bully learner drivers on the road. One nearly caused an accident with my car when he suddenly came from behind and cut into my lane. My instructor was horning like mad! To top it off, the engine was making so much noise. Really irritating!
I've logged onto a website given by my university yesterday and realised that I have to go for some enrolment advice session. Thing is, it's on the 2 Feb and I'll be leaving on the 6th. I have to find an email add to notify them for another session. Their website is pretty complicated and there's so many procedures. Way more complicated than the poly ones. Soon, I'll be tearing my hair out. Big sigh...
Yay! Next week my aunt from Finland is coming! Woohoo! I get to see her like once every 2 years. She's my favourite aunt! Oops! Actually she's my only aunt from my dad's side. Gonna celebrate her 50th birthday when she doesn't even look or act like one. Whatever it is...I'm just so excited!
Just now I went to laminate my card and found out that the photo shop sells photography mags. I usually pop by another photo shop to do most of my stuff but only this one offers lamination. One mag for 3 bucks! All along...it has been under my nose and I stayed here for what...21 years? Haha! Never mind...I'll buy a few to read. :D

New year, New beginning
Happy new year everyone! Yup...I know I'm alittle late. Hope everyone had a great new year. I don't know whether you call this resolutions but it's something that I wish for 2006.
1. Wishing that all my family and friends will be well. Especially to my family when i'm gone.
2. For Fievel to enjoy a fulfilled life even though I may not be around to be with him till the end.
3. Hope that I can cope in the new environment I'm about to stay.
4. For people to keep to their resolutions and not stop halfway. At least get pass June or something? February's way too soon.
Other than that, I've been constantly getting dreams every night since the first week of december. I usually dream of people I know or seen before. Because my subconsiousness is so active, I have been waking up later or feeling tired easily. I just don't want to look like a panda.
Back to the dreaming. It seems like most of them either can happen in future or the opposite of what might happen. They're related to what's going on now. Like the night before the tsunami rememberance day, I dreamt that I was in a kelong with lots of people. We were so far out in the deep sea and it looked very much that we were all stranded. Some people were sad but the kids were still smiling and playful. Freaky ain't it?
Next week is my driving test! I just praying really hard that I don't have a bad day on that day! I need it to be a good one! Hope I won't get a terrible tester! *cross fingers real tight*
Can't believe it'll be a couple of weeks before I leave. I'm gonna miss an episode of ANTM where Ashley Isham(singapore designer based in london) will be a guest judge! And I'll be missing franz ferdinand's concert here! And a new season of amazing race in february! My gosh...i might miss singapore tv. *sulks*
