Sweet November is coming to an end. Looking forward to a lovely piece of paper or rather an increase in my bank account. Been waiting for it for weeks. Currently, I don't have a job. School holidays are a bad thing after all...well for me.
Back to the planning stage. I'm pretty worried for my accomodation because I can't seem to find a good place. My campus will be in the city and public transport will be free in there. So we'll increase the budget on the rent since transport is not a worry. Thing is, the places that the uni has recommended is either outside the city or it's too expensive or it's full because the current intake has not moved out yet. The school term is not over yet. Yeah, I haven't found a place. I am freaking out, surfing through different websites. Adelaide is a quiet place so that's a definite big fat minus there.
Recently i met up with my lovely friends. We had an appointment to have lunch at SP. Miss the environment although there were some dudes whom marcus call 'uncivilised'. Other than that, hanging out, catching up. It's all good.
I finally finished the Narnia series. I started 2 months ago...just that after one book, i'll picked up a different book to read in between. The way CS Lewis writes is so beautiful and after book 7: The last battle, I finally get it. A beautiful ending which I hope it'll happen to me. It is something which I have pictured before and after reading the series, it's something which I would like to have. I wish Narnia wouldn't end!! *sobs*
Gonna have a couple of events which includes friends coming up for me. I'm gonna watch Harry Potter later on. Big yay on that! Waiting for that last book to come out. It's getting all so interesting. One more book, baby!

Financially, i think i'm at my lowest literally. My pay hasn't come in yet. That part i'm discussing with my friend cos both of us are in the same boat. With birthdays and christmas coming up, it's pretty hard for me. During christmas, i would go all out to get presents for family and friends. I'll have to think of alternatives instead now. For those whose birthdays are coming up, I apologise in advance.
Yesterday 2 of my friends came over and did something we haven't done for 6 years. Eat carrot cake and watch vcds. Just as simple as that but it's fun. I usually see them for swimming and catch up but we're going back to sec school days. We were yakking so much! Actually jingyue mentioned that she wanted to hang out more before i leave.
bubbly jingyue
funny me
cool ailianOf late, my dad and grandaunt are showering with more hugs, telling me they'll miss my smell or tickling or something. ok...everyone's feeling it but yet for me? I'm just busy planning stuff. Maybe i'll feel it on the last day itself or something?
I haven't been able to come up with any art stuff, can't see stuff in photos. I'm having the block, designer's block or something. It sucks cos I need it most now!! Grr...I'll have to draw inspiration from somewhere. Die die! must find!

Yay! I'm so happy the 3 1/2 days of teaching or torture is over!! I was teaching in Geylang Methodist Primary from 8am - 6pm. It's really tiring especially when students don't exactly pay attention and keep calling your name. The students in this school brought out the fierce side of me which I didn't knew I had. I had boys fighting, threatening one another, holding their friend upside down to get coins. Girls who tell me that they forget what we teach until I sit them down. As I teach, I made sure they wrote down every step. If they ask again, #$%$#^! These girls can ask me the same question several times until I want to give up. The boys are cheeky as usual.
My friend had a worse class. On the last day, the boss asked me to go over and help her control her class. In the end, there were about 6 of us in that class helping out. Terrible! I felt a little bad leaving my colleague to teach my class cos the boys in that class is extremely cheeky but they know I can take their nonsense.
Out of all this, I did have fun. Made new friends from the company and during the breaks, we'll all compare our classes and mode of discipline. It's really hilarious crapping. Reminds me of itp lunch breaks. Even though I complain about some of the students, I actually enjoy this job. I get to interact with the kids and teach them something I know. It's pretty fulfilling. Hopefully I can get one more job before I leave.
Today I went down to Orchard with my sister. Walked around in taka and pop by Zara to see if they have any nice jackets. I decided to try on a sweater and before I walked into the fitting room, this malay girl who was working there asked me what was I doing. Told her I'm going to try on the sweater and she gave me a tag. After I tried on, I was discussing with my sis in the sitting area of the fitting room whether I should get it. This girl kept loitering around us, waiting for us to get out of the room. Stared at us, put her hands on her waist, pouting her lips. What's up with that? When I passed her both the sweater and the tag, she snatched both away and I walked out an unhappy customer. Who the fuck she think she is? Just because I'm dressed in T-shirt, jeans, sneakers doesn't give her the right to treat me like shit. Even though I like the sweater, it ain't worth buying. Only 39.90 and think I can't afford it? Her male colleague was very nice to me before then but her?
What's up with boutiques in taka? I know LV already ruined its reputation in Urban Straits Times. Next time I'll try my dad's method. It's really terrible. A shop like Giordano can give one of the best services that an up market boutique can't. I can only shake my head.

The day I Blew
I scolded a boy today. For the first time I shouted at him in front of the class. Usually I play the nice guy during teaching but this boy definitely pushed over the limit and I blew my top. His classmates would witness this was so stunned even me cos I never knew I could scold. Told him to stand in front of class but refused. In the end, I told him I'll tell his teacher. When his teacher walked in, my eyes narrowed. After I spoke to the teacher, she brought the boy outside. Moral of the story: In class when I threaten, I'll make sure it is carried out, no matter what.
I just don't get boys. All they do is play. They're always lazy and they pretend to pay attention and in the end, they don't know what to do. Sigh.

Time to bitch according to Murphy's Law. Today I tried my hand in changing my test date to an earlier date. I had the documents but I was rejected. He wanted the plane ticket. Now I'm supposed to wait till january. I think by then, I'll be alittle rusty and my hope of passing on the first round has dropped quite a few nodges. Even though I finished all my lessons, I'll concentrate on the next few days of work, planning and christmas presents. I know it's a bit early but it'll keep the sulking claire occupied won't it?
I seriously can't keep long hair. When it reaches a certain length, I have an urge to cut off the inches. Yup, having one of those moments but this week I'm too busy. I'll do the chopping next week. I can't wait to cut my hair! I'll apologise to 2 of my friends who keep telling me not to cut. I can't help it! How do the other girls maintain their lengths and not feel irritated? Definitely the weather.
I'm so stressed lately. Ah! Hope things gets better after this week. 3 full days of unlimited work. Hope I don't fall sick. *cross fingers*
