Yay! I got a new job! Actually it's pretty fast though. Applied for the job through jobstreet in the morning and received a call in the afternoon. Had the interview this morning. The guy asked me to take my shoes off (cleanliness problem?). There were a row of shoes outside. Filled in 4 pages of paper work before being interviewed. She brought me the timetable for my designated school - tampines primary school. Teaching primary 4s flash. Yeah an idiot like me learned flash in year 2. Imagine, the primary 2s are learning photoshop and the pri 3s are learning dreamweaver. *faintz*

Pretty happy i got something stable. Only thing i worry is class management. I'm not a very fierce person. Shall do bribery if needed. Chocolates.

Had a busy weekend. Managed to spend some time with zeren. We went to crawford to do his shopping. Sadly, the shop i wanted to visit does not open on sundays. =( There's alot of clones buying their stuff and it's really crazy but interesting. Finally tried the famous tang yuan. Yummy but really gooey. *thumbs up* Headed back to my place to do more shopping. Was a good night that night. :)

Need to prepare an animation to put in my portfolio. The girl from ECU is coming this fri. Yikes!

While writing this blog, Fievel is trying to get me to play with him. He's sitting behind me on the same chair, playing tug. Think he might be jealous cos i've been paying attention to Finn. Finn caught a cold last friday and has been coughing. Yes, coughing. It's the first time i've seen that happen but he's getting better due to some crazy idea.

At least these little fellows are cheering me up. Been having alot of problems with the guy i'm working with. I've decided to finish up the last project and tell him I quit. He told me to wait for his next move after I didn't want to do one of his project, simple because he's taking advantage literally. Can't wait for the day i'll email him i quit. I've told him nicely about why i couldn't do the project and he took it that i stabbed his ego. Typical bastard.

Played alot of angry music which is kinda shiok. Took out the anger at swimming which was good and bad. Felt more relieved but muscles are sore. Lost my stamina for not swimming for weeks. Whatever it is, Alexanda Popav and Ian Thorpe will be in singapore next month of the IOC. Hurray! Yeah right, like i will get to see them.

Father's Day today. I nearly forgot about it but i had a gift hidden away in the cardboard and forgot to wrap it. Got a message from zeren and I mentioned I nearly forgot father's day. He, in return, told all his bunk mates and none of them remembered it too. Guess that's how tekong shuts you away from society literally. It was good to hear his voice last night. Missed having him around especially during this stressful period.

I wrote back an email to my boss, telling him that it ain't about the money but just a matter of principles. I asked that he give me the weekend off to rest after working all nighters. He didn't reply back which it could mean either two things. Firstly, he took my word literally and decided not to bother me this weekend. He trusts me to deliver his animation by wed or, he can't stand me and might fire me. Either way, i'm ok with it. I'm just enjoying the quiet weekend catching up on sleep. Even managed to watch Batman Begins.

It's better than the previous batman movies. Much deeper and darker like most people say. I just have to agree with Gary Oldman when he said he wished he had one of these, the hummer hybrid. It'll be a classic for me to own one. Yeah right, in my dreams. Just felt it was better than star wars episode 3. Go watch it.

A lady from ECU notified me that one of their people will be coming to singapore to interview and view portfolios of hopefuls. With these, it'll also help to determine the right exemptions besides the previous subjects that i have studied. Somehow i don't feel that confident in that area. My portfolio sucks, i'm not that good. Just hope they're not like those english piano examiners. They literally freak me out but i trust that they will be slightly nicer, maybe?

This guy is literally pushing me to the limit. Just when I thought I could take a breathe after this project, my boss comes and throw another one. Says he's sponsering this exhibition and wants me to do FOC! Why in the world would I do FOC for a guy who's planning to kill me with all his last minute changes and fucking ideas? So what if there's hotels and vernetta lopez inside? I don't fuckin' care! Any idea how to tell this guy i can't do it for free if he's gonna keep pushing me to do last minute work all the time and I still have to make changes for his previous 3 projects?

Finally i get to enjoy the cool air in the morning...shiok.

Right now i feel like wrapping my fingers around my boss's throat. Due to his meetings with clients, the deadline of the project/draft is always reduced in half. Usually I'll only have a day or two if i'm lucky to do the 3D models for him. As I finished my work last night after midnight, i received his email that he wanted to make changes. Alot of them. He happened to went to exhibitions and pubs and mailed me the visuals. Right and you got a meeting with them the next day at noon. He has to make do with what i've sent him. I'll make the changes or rather re-model everything despite of his meeting today. Says one thing and does another. *growls*

Been hearing alot of stories from zeren. Quite interesting. Managed to keep his hair for two more days before the barber takes it all off. Some guy landed on his head. Met some of the guys there. Didn't know he was sitting in front of see wee in the canteen until after their meals. Making 'afros' with leaves. Yes, i miss him.

Back to dirty work!

Read something interesting in the papers about Michael Spicer.

"The Melbourne natuve plays keyboard and flute himself and was in fact from a 1980s Australian folk-rock band called Redgum, which had five Top 20 hits in Australia including a national No. 1."

We were taught by a star. :)

Yesterday I received two letters. Edith Cowen Uni and RMIT. I'm officially accepted into ECU. Yay! They put 3 years which is wrong though. Have to clarify with them cos they promised 2 years. The family can't afford 3 years cos my sister is going at the same time as me. Though my dad told her to wait for a while, she is persistent as what she wants, she gets it. IDP is asking to put a down payment with them first.

RMIT has a place reserved for me. They're awaiting my portfolio. Will send the CD to them next week.

This morning I received an email from UNISA (uni of south australia). I'm in too. Now I gotta weigh my choices now. It's quite odd that they sent an email together with applicant number and password. I figured there'll be an official letter. I got a while to choose where to go.

Main factor the family is worrying is driving. I'll be taking that basic theory test next month. I'm not sure whether i'll be able to finish the course in time before end of the year.

I managed to finish the first draft for my first project. I have to admit that i'm still in the slacking mood and the last minute rush really pushed me back on my toes. Guilty of it but so far, i'm waiting to see if he needs to make anymore changes. It's really interesting. What I model, it'll be real soon.

Anyway, dear zeren will be heading to tekong. Paying debt to government, i mean...serving the country. In a few weeks, i can't wait to see your head. Oops! Kidding! Take care ya! *bear hug* For those going in soon, all the best and take care!

Listening: 'So contagious' by Acceptance

When will it rain? Weather's been pretty warm which results a new fan in my room. It's harder to sleep at night cos of the heat.

I went swimming recently and changed my routine alittle. Ok, a little bit more. Haven't swam alone in almost a month. Strained my shoulders which is normal. Then I proceeded to sleeping on my left side. I have this habit of doing that. I think i slept through in one position. Woke up with a sore left shoulder. After my dad gave it a rub (which is ridiculously hard), hurt like hell and i couldn't move my arm. He seemed to be happy after that, volunteering for more. Somebody! Help me!

Last monday i sent in my application to RMIT and University of south australia. The lady we met, Christina Penhall from UNISA. She's really something. She saw to the processing of the application and contacted the people from School of Art. My dad received an email from her and i received an email from Greg, a lecturer from school of art. I think this is the fastest i've ever seen. Attaching my portfolio for them now. As for RMIT, i keep forgetting to send the cd to IDP. Will put an alarm on my phone if i have to. Getting more forgetful since i crossed the big '2'. Tsk tsk. Now I have to wait for another reply from ECU.

2 days ago, was watching the Grind. Finally it's on cable! It's all skateboarding and shit. My dad watched a little of it and i asked him.

me : Hey dad! Would you prefer me doing this or surfing?
Dad: Both are alright with me. Just don't get eaten by sharks.

Great whites. Scary creatures.

I'm glad that i've got two projects confirmed and i can start work now. Feels better when i got something to work on.

Happy birthday mom!! Had celebrations for her over the weekend, treated her to japanese for lunch and now to spend quality time. To think about it, for the past few years, things have been getting harder for the family but there's usually the lighter side of situations. She's clinging tighter as she knows my sis and i won't be around next year. Wished that she could follow but i got to learn to be independant in a new place.

Was reading 'Mind your body'. All about feet. Interesting topic for me cos of the 'damage'. The feet is the most abused body part and as you walk, it takes on twice the body weight. When you run/jog, it takes on 5 times the body weight. Ouch! To the part which is related for me, the bunion. As the big toe bends towards the other toes, artiritis and swelling will developed. Damn! I don't want to get artiritis at such a young age. Definitely will massage the foot more now. Shoes. Some women in US amputate their toes (mostly the second toe, longest) just to fit into a pair a Jimmy Choos. That part is ridiculous. Getting rid of something which is specially made for you.

Sometimes I'm happy with the 'damaged' foot. Don't have to worry about wearing fancy shoes except on special occasions. Only comfortable shoes and flip flops for me. My sister accumulates shoes from different designs (even though some look the same) and my small collection has been kicked out to give her more space. She comes back from work and puts on those medicated plasters on her feet, still saying that her shoes are comfortable. Right!

Though shall stay away from thy singapore sale. Went on a shopping spree yesterday. Glad that my mom got the essentials she wanted. I tried on an dress with a ridiculous price for fun. Yes, a dress. Bleah. At Tangs, i came across this middle-aged lady at the basement. There was this narrow passageway. Thought she wanted to get to the other side so i squeezed through to let her pass. Even said sorry in chinese. Then my mom was asking me why was that lady staring at me. I turned around and true enough, she mentioned something about me to the salesgirl and both stared at me with their burning eyes. To quote my mom, she had this shit face staring. I didn't even touched her at all! Made me look like some convict. Best thing to do, walk away. Wonder why I experience funny people. *shakes head*

Now i just hope the guy emails me now. Promise to send the stuff on mon or tue and it's wed. Probably give him till thurs before emailing him. I need to save up for driving lessons. Doh!
